Welcome to the Arizona Court Interpreter Credentialing Program (ACICP)

Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (ACJA) § 7-301 requires court interpreters credentialed by the Arizona Court Interpreter Credentialing Program (ACICP) comply with continuing education requirements. Authorized continuing education is designed to promote the ongoing professional development of interpreters’ knowledge, skills, and abilities, and to ensure they stay up to date with current developments, protocols, and procedures related to the practice of court interpreting.

Please note that some providers have provider-level accreditation rather than individual course accreditation. This means their courses will not appear in search results but may still have training activities that fit your criteria. Please see the Approved Training Providers List and visit their websites to view the courses available from these providers.

ACICP approves both individual programs (courses, trainings, webinars, seminars, etc.) and providers of court interpreter training. Approval is based on the criteria described in ACJA § 7-301(F) and includes, but is not limited to, the program’s subject matter, purpose, activity type, and credit hours.

If you are a training provider and wish to submit a request for accreditation, you must first register. If you are a court interpreter and wish to submit a request for accreditation, please log in using your Arizona Court Interpreter Registry credentials to submit an accreditation request.
